On March 20, the inaugural composite materials skills training program of the Wuhu Aerospace (Low?Altitude Economy) Craftsman College officially commenced. The College, hosted by CETC Aircraft, is one of the key craftsman colleges supported by the All?China Federation of Trade Unions. Leveraging CETC Aircraft’s deep technological expertise and full?chain engineering experience in the field of composite materials, the College provides trainees with teaching scenarios and hands?on training conditions that closely mirror real?world production, ensuring precise alignment with industry needs.
This training program adopts a combination of theory and practice, covering modules such as the civil aviation airworthiness system, theoretical reinforcement, practical skills, and project experience transfer. It helps trainees systematically master key skills in composite material forming, machining, and inspection. At the opening ceremony, Tian Manlin, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of CETC Aircraft and Dean of the College, put forward three expectations: trainees should learn wholeheartedly, immersing themselves to gain deep understanding; instructors should teach diligently, adhering to strict standards and integrating the spirit of craftsmanship into their teaching; and the training itself should produce tangible results through practical work, cultivating a team of craftsmen who “have vision in their eyes, skills in their hands, and dedication in their hearts.”
Going forward, relying on CETC Aircraft’s industrial platform and technological advantages, the College will accelerate its development into a craftsman college with regional influence and even national demonstration value, continuously supplying high?quality skilled talent for the low?altitude economy sector.
